I know a bee
He's not quite right
He really doesn't show
That flying really is
Something bees just 'oughta know.
I never say
To bumble bee
In case he gets the hump.
But soon I really should
To stop his scrapes and bumps.
He flies around
Head upside down
As fast as he can go
But he gets in a mess
And falls to the ground below.
And then one day
He came to me
With a plan that I had feared,
To fly around above the ground
On top of a big enough bird.
And so he did
Fly high and free
And nobody was to know
That on that bird
Was my bumble bee, soaring high and low
