Hi there, I'm Gareth Lancaster, the author of all the poetry on the FizzyFunnyFuzzy web site. I've been writing children's poetry for a number of years now and started by writing for my daughter (and now my son as well who's arrived since I started this web site). I live in Derbyshire in the United Kingdom with my wife, children and two exceedingly lazy cats, one of which was the inspiration for the poem "Bod, My Fat Cat".
FizzyFunnyFuzzy is all about poetry for kids (of any age!). We all like to laugh and hopefully my poetry on this web site will help you do just that!
My poetry has not been published anywhere other than this web site, although I keep my fingers crossed that it will happen at some point (though my fingers are starting to hurt now!) However, I receive many requests from schools around the world asking me if they can use my poetry in their classrooms, so you may have come across the site from there.
